Does Widener Law offer low cost travel/emergency/medical insurance for students attending its Summer Abroad Programs?

No, Widener Law does not offer low cost travel insurance covering emergencies and/or medical issues. We highly recommend that students attending any of our programs obtain insurance, and have found that there are several web sites that offer insurance packages for students who plan to travel abroad. STA travel, the travel agency of the Council on International Education Exchanges, offers an inexpensive insurance policy. Other options include obtaining coverage through the individual student’s credit card company, through a travel agency, or through individual or family life and/or medical insurance.
