Yes. Why? Whitefield Academy is committed to developing informed, critical thinkers. If Christians are to give an answer as to why they do not believe in atheistic evolution, they must know what the theory states and understand its shortcomings. While immediate creation theories (such as the Short Day theory) are discussed, the biology classes spend a significant amount of time studying the mechanics of evolution. This is due to the fact that microevolution does clearly account for some variation within populations of organisms, such as the development of different animal breeds.
