Does Walgreens have a grievance policy in place for the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited programs?

All grievances received from all sources regarding ACPE accredited programs (or absence of such) will be recorded on a Walgreens Health Initiatives Incident Report Form. A copy will be provided to our continuing education administrator within 24 hours of the recorded grievance. The continuing education administrator will follow-up on every grievance, to record actions taken, and close the incident. The continuing education administrator will also assure that any and all persons filing grievances will not be subject to any negativism, retaliation, or other response that would reduce their willingness to complain. All complainants are entitled to a due process of resolution. Any complainant, who is not satisfied with the outcome, will be provided information that will enable the elevation of their grievance to the Walgreens Peer Review committee headed by the Director of Continuing Education.
