Does VSP have a disaster recovery plan in place?
A. The safety of our employees, as well as providing essential services to our members, clients, doctors and vendors, in the event of a disaster is a top priority at VSP. That’s why we have established a flexible and timely process for business continuance during and following an emergency. VSP’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) identifies critical business functions vital to the operation of VSP and details actions needed to recover and restore processes, both client and member data and member service telephone services. In addition, VSP conducts annual disaster recovery exercises to measure our recovery processes.
