Does Volunteer Maldives arrange appropriate visas?
AYes we do. It may be what’s called a ‘Special Visa’ which is used mainly for teaching staff, and for other volunteers they will come mainly on a 3 month ‘Business Visa’. The government rules are subject to change on the visa requirements which we’ll keep you notified of. If you wish to take a program other than teaching for a period of over three months, you will probably need to leave the Maldives for a month then return. During your month out, we can arrange for you to assist with one of our placements in Sri Lanka.
