Yes. Children between the ages of five and 11 traveling alone must travel as Unaccompanied Minors. Volaris charges $500 MXN for domestic Mexico flights and $100 USD for transborder flights (one-way). Children between the ages of 12 and 17 have the option of traveling as Unaccompanied Minors for the above fees, but are also eligible to travel as adults.
