Yes. Before making a recording to transcribe, the VTR recorder must be set at VT speed and in Dictation Mode microphone setup, and you must speak close to the VTR microphone (about 2 inches away and slightly to the side). When performing transcription to Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred, be sure that you are using an enrollment that was performed with your voice and with the VTR recorder.
