Does VMS assume the final liability for unpaid violations?
Although, VMS does take on the responsibility for making payment for our client’s violations (those violations in which they are responsible and/or liable for), we do not assume the financial liability. Once payment is made on behalf of our clients, VMS invoices them for the amount due to the issuing authority. The payment of these violations, prevents them from having to issue multiple checks to various issuing authorities and is done as a free service for our clients.
