Does Virginia Homebirth Midwifery accept insurance coverage for payment of services?
We are proud to report that we accept Virginia Medicaid. Virginia Medicaid is the only insurance that we accept at this point. We are happy to bill your insurance after your birth, however, at this time, most insurances do not cover homebirth. All payment, must be received in full by 36 weeks unless other prior arrangements have been made.
