Does Virginia accept the National Examination for State Licensing (NESL)?
Please refer to Guidance Document 90-3: Acceptance of examination for certification as a massage therapist, which says: On November 18, 2008, the Board voted to issue massage therapy certification to persons who complete the National Examination for State Licensing (NESL) option once conversion to national certification has been obtained by the NCBTMB.
