Does VIPSEAL eat away at rims?
No! VIPSEAL’s anticorrosion system continuously prevents rust and corrosion. VIPSEAL cannot remove rust or corrosion that is already present, but it neutralises it and prevents the damage from worsening. Test based on EEC Regulation 30 Norm VIPSEAL was tested by RAPRA Technology, the biggest European polymer research and documentation centre (for plastics and rubber). A tyre containing VIPSEAL, pierced in 3 places, was subjected to a simulated 40,000 km on the road at 160 km/h. At the end of the test, VIPSEAL had perfectly fulfilled its role as a puncture-proofing sealant, as no loss of pressure was observed. See the test report.
