Does VIP Utility include a signature scanner?
Yes, VIP Utility has a build in signature scanner. When you feed it with an inspecting program file, it scans it first. If it finds the matched signature from its signature database, it will report as a known virus. No further inspection is performed. If it cannot find the matched signature, it will start the full inspecting process. Once it detects a new viral program, it will automatically updates its signature database.
