Does Vicks babyrub work?
#1 Vicks BABY rub doesn’t contain camphor which is why it is safe for babies #2 Never use camphor on a baby -period, it is toxic and even when they are old enough not to absorb enough through their skin it is still going to end up in their mouth. Also I believe adult vaporub says not to cover it as it can cause skin burns so the socks idea is probably bad. Maybe babyrub doesn’t say that on it, but baby’s skin is so sensitive I wouldn’t risk it. I would also use caution using babyrub on a baby it contains essential oils which are generally not to be taken internally. And babies are always getting things on their hands and then in their mouths and eyes. Although there probably isn’t that much essential oil in this product.
