Does VHS offer International Baccalaureate courses?
A During the 2004-2006 school years, VHS piloted the online offering of IB Economics. VHS was the only online course provider selected by the International Baccalaureate Organization to pilot an IB course online. For the 2009/2010 school year, VHS will be offering IB Economics SL and HL, IB Business and Managment SL and IB Information Technology for a Global Society HL. A Having been a pioneer in the development of online IB courses, VHS is now working closely with Pamoja Education to expand the range of online IB courses available to its member schools. As a result of VHS’s close cooperation with Pamoja Education, schools can use their VHS membership to enrol students in any of eight two-year online IB courses, with classes beginning in September 2010. Courses include: Business and Management SL, Economics SL, Economics HL, ITGS SL, ITGS HL, Mathematics HL, Psychology SL and Spanish ab initio.
