Does Versajet have a cautery action?
Versajet is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. Accurate debridement of the soft tissue can been seen to reduce bleeding due to the ability to debride down to punctuate bleeding tissue rather than taking more tissue than desired and encouraging copious bleeding. Versajet facilitates accurate debridement of wounds by allowing the surgeon to plane down through the tissues and get very good visibility of the operative sight. Versajet does not have a cautery action.
