HI only phone which are unlocked from CDMA networks can be used with verizon sim ..Else if the phone is unlocked from GSM networks then it is compatible with other GSM sim and not with CDMA.If you want to use verizon sim then purchase phone unlocked from CDMA network ..If any one want to unlock their phone from GSM network then have a look at sites like Unlocking4U.com here they are rendering unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost …

Unlocked phones are GSM-based, so these would not work on Verizon Wireless as it is a CDMA carrier. Both GSM and CDMA operate on different frequencies, which are not compatible with each other.
