Does Verizon One always have to work as a home networking device?
Every Verizon One contains a four-port wireless router that can manage communications for network devices (e.g. PCs, printers, etc.) on a wired or wireless basis. When in use, the Verizon One router is “in charge” of managing Internet traffic and all or part of the customer’s home data network. This ability can be enabled by selecting “connections” under the settings menu and then choosing DSL (router active). However, a home network may not end up using Verizon One’s routing capabilities. This will not diminish any of Verizon One’s other features.
