No. VelocityQ remains an active product with ongoing development, and is an ideal standard-definition platform with exceptional multi-stream performance (with features including four simultaneous video streams, six graphics streams, and optional two or four-channel 3D DVE). VelocityQ offers a range of cost-effective configurations for those who don’t need the HD capabilities or greater SD performance of VelocityHD. VelocityHD is intended for users working in high definition, needing greater standard-definition performance than offered by VelocityQ, or for those currently working in standard definition but wishing a built-in path to HD with no hardware upgrades required. It represents an addition to the Leitch Post product line, not a replacement.
