Yes, not for all but for me. I get dark skin due to Vaseline. Before 3 years I stopped the use of it. It is my own experience with Vaseline petroleum jelly. But it is not necessary that if it darkened my skin then it can darken other’s skin also.

i don’t think it will darken the skin because i’m a daily user of vaseline petroleum jelly and i’ve not yet seen any darkening of my skin.it also depends on the brand which you use.many artificial products are seen in market which look exactly original.so beware and buy the products from reputed shops.
