Yes. If a company awarding commercial support will make payment in the form of a wire or electronic transfer only, advise and submit all required paperwork to VCME. Please do not complete the paperwork or return it to the company. Clearly indicate on the paperwork that the payment is for a CME-certified activity, noting the title and date of the activity, before sending it to VCME. VCME will forward the paperwork to Medical Finance for processing. Once the transfer has been made, Vanderbilt Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) will contact VCME to obtain the appropriate LOA so that the payment may be credited to the correct activity/cost center. NOTE: some companies require online submission of financial data; in such cases you should send VCME a screen shot of the online form. VCME will obtain the required information from Medical Finance then forward it to you for online entry.
