Does UXR manufacture their own borescopes?
No. UXR is a stocking distributor. We have an OEM that we work very closely with in distributing their products. Unlike the most of the industry, UXR is not a typical Manufacturers Sales Representative company- much like those other guys out there in the traditional establishment. Most of these fine gentlemen have little or no investment in inventory and uses a manufacturers “borrowed” demo equipment. We own what we sell and guarantee quick turnaround and in many cases orders can be filled within (1) day- ask your major manufacturer about that one- like the guys that brag about having everything manufactured in the U.S. How many weeks lead time do they quote for Flexible Borescopes? 4, 6 even 8 weeks!!! All of our products except for our latest Video Imaging scopes are FROM STOCK. UXR distributes and provides all valued-added sales support, technical support and service for this product line in addition to our pre-owned nondestructive (NDT) testing equipment sales.
