Does UTMB offer a BS or Masters degree?
This is a professional Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT). Please check out our website for the development of our post-professional Master’s degree (for those who already have a baccalaureate degree in occupational therapy). This post-professional degree is projected to begin in the fall of 2005. How long is the MOT program? The MOT program is offered on both a full and a part-time basis. The full-time professional curriculum consists of 2 years (6 consecutive semesters) of academic coursework and 6 months on fieldwork education. The part-time curriculum spreads the academic coursework over 3 or 4 years, followed by 6 months of fieldwork education. Does UTMB offer a part-time course of study? No. What will my course schedule look like? All courses are only offered on week days during normal business hours, however some labs taught by clinicians will be from 5 to 7.
