Does UT have a Co-Op Program ?

0

Yes. The Co-op program is a requirement for the BSME and the BSIE degree. The Co-Op Program enables a student to work at an engineering job and to take classes at UT during alternating semesters after the freshman year. For example, in fall and summer academic semesters you are at UT, and in spring and the following fall you are on the job [or vice-versa]. As a result, students complete the program in four and one-half years with about 12-months of engineering job experience. This is very helpful in learning engineering as well as getting a good job after graduation. Students in the Co-Op Program are usually very pleased with their job placement [which could be in Toledo, your home-town, or someplace else].
