All of the table and counter tops used by USM (i.e. particle board, veneers, varnish and glues) correspond to category E1 low formaldehyde (best category according to DIN 52368) and can therefore be used without hesitation for the construction of furniture. All other materials used by USM, such as steel, glass, stone, light metals and plastics are formaldehyde-free.
