Does using PolicyMatter automatically turn my company into a Big Brother type of organisation?

Not at all. If your company culture is essentially collaborative and non-intrusive, you can easily configure PolicyMatter to reflect that. Allow people plenty of time to read policy. Allow feedback or disagreement. Put lots of policies into individuals’ policy libraries so they can access them as and when needed, rather than present them at login. And if they don’t understand policy, merely record it and point them to an information page. But if you do need a touch of ‘stick’ as well as ‘carrot’, you can add that element as well. For sensitive policies, like harassment, discrimination, misuse of the Internet, re-present policy until people show they really have understood it. Don’t give them access to parts of your network or systems until they’ve signed up to the associated policies. Either way, you decide.
