HDMI cables SHOULD give a better picture than either the old AV cables or svideo cables. You can pick up HDMI cables quite cheaply from discount stores or pay a hundred bucks from a specialist store. As far as I’m concerned a bit of wire is a bit of wire (in this situation) and fifteen bucks is better than a hundred bucks. Just pick up one from a store that accepts returns and try it out. Take it back if it doesn’t improve things.
