When two users of Notes have such similar login usernames or shortnames, this can cause a conflict and actually Single Sign On the wrong user into the wrong account when using APO’s Single Sign On feature. This rare occurrence can be solved by forcing APO to look in an alternate view for the matching Domain and Notes usernames. Create a new view in the Notes Client Address book called “$Shortnames” to replace the “$Users” Shortname originally used by APO to locate and sign into a user’s account. In addition if you add the following line into your note.ini file, this will direct APO to look in the new view.
