Not necessarily. With SP913 WLAN HotSpot gateway, the user needs is a browser to access the Internet. In addition, the plug and play feature of SP913 eliminates the need for any changes to be made to the existing computer configuration e.g. IP addresses etc. Access is available once the user has cleared user authentication.
