Does United Way of Metropolitan Nashville support the Boy Scouts?
Yes. United Way of Metropolitan Nashville currently invests in two local Boy Scout programs totaling $35,258. These programs are targeted at ‘at-risk’ low-income urban youth in order to prepare them to make appropriate life choices and increase their knowledge in areas of decision making, goal setting, personal strengths and skills. Furthermore, all of the United Ways in Middle Tennessee provide some level of funding to the Middle Tennessee Boy Scout Council.
