Does Un-Rust-It deteriorate plastics, rubbers, paints or surfaces of the metals?

Un-Rust-It has not deteriorate any plastics, rubbers, paints to date. It should be noted that using Un-Rust-It on polished high carbon steels may cause a slight discoloring of the metal. Also, on some high carbon metals, a black colored carbon like material might be left on the surface after the rust removing process. This can be removed easily if it is not allowed to dry and you use Metal Kleener 0001 or similar product.
