Does UF have any Nobel or Pulitzer prize winners on faculty?
UF has one Nobel laureate and one Pulitzer Prize winner. John Robert Schrieffer, a physicist and chief scientist for the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, part of which is housed at UF, received the Nobel Prize in physics in 1972. John Kaplan, an associate professor in the College of Journalism and Communications, won the Pulitzer Prize for feature photography in 1992. View more information at UF Facts & Rankings.
