Yes, you need to purchase an entrance visa for Tanzania. The visa is easily obtained upon arrival at any major airport or border entrance in Tanzania. Victoria Falls is on the southern border of Zambia, and is the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It takes about 2 days to fly there. You have to fly from Tanzania to Johannesburg, South Africa, spend the night there, and then fly to Livingstone the next day.
