Does TUPE cover all aspects of the contract of employment?
It does cover all terms and conditions (such as pay, hours, job role and place of work) with very limited exceptions, the main one being pensions. Employees transferring under TUPE are not guaranteed to take their pension with them. However, it is expected that CPU staff transferring to Bromley Healthcare will be able to retain their NHS pension scheme membership for the future and this is a key objective for Bromley Healthcare (also see question on Right to Request).
