Does TripVerde do a driving-record check of the Driver?
No, we currently do not. However, Drivers as well as Riders are expected, at all times, to comply with all state and federal laws. Drivers are expected to have a current drivers license, to carry adequate liability insurance as per the law and to inform the RideJockey of any current traffic violations (within the past 12 months). Drivers must also ensure that all passengers wear seatbelts during the ride. Riders, as well as Drivers, are requested to rate fellow passengers after each ride, which helps the RideJockey monitor the quality of the ride and, if necessary, make changes. In the future, TripVerde will conduct criminal and driving-record checks in order for users to become certified TripVerde Drivers.
