Does Tri-State assist crime watch groups with communications?
Our volunteers are always ready to assist the communities we serve. If you are working with your local police to establish a neighborhood crime watch group and they feel that you would benefit from longer-range communications than an FRS (Family Radio Service) radio can offer, our communications volunteers will be able to meet with your group access your requirements and suggest a long term or short term solution which may include use of one of our local repeaters for extended range coverage or establishing a system of your own.
