Does treating mosquitos with household insecticides in bedrooms and living rooms involve a health hazard?
The buzz of mosquitos in bedrooms has caused many a sleepless night. If this is a serious nuisance it is advisable to use the Baygon Electric Mat Vaporiser or Electric Liquid Vaporiser products. Once the heater is switched on, a small amount of agent is evenly released to protect you from the mosquitos. The rate of release is so low that even flies are unaffected. For humans the products are safe when correctly used. However in unventilated rooms they should not be used. The same applies to rooms in which there are small children or very sensitive persons. If the mosquito infestation is very heavy, the remedy is to put fly screens in front of the windows or mosquito nets over the beds.
