Does Transact Retail allow for full price band control?
Yes, using Transact Manager you can set up account customer price bands as well as transaction price bands and line price bands. Customer price bands are helpful when dealing with customers entitled to discounts or trade prices. Transaction price bands can be used for non account customers, when you want to set a price across an entire transaction whereas line price bands adjust only the price of a single line. It is also possible to set up multiple price policies which will maintain a specific profit margin against cost or discount on main price as well as promotional prices which can be used for a short term special offer.
