Groups of 50 or more are required to obtain a picnic permit, groups of less that 50 may do so if desired at one of four designated parks. Parks where picnic reservations may be made are Columbia, El Nido, Torrance and Wilson Park. Picnic fees and cleaning deposits are determined by group size, and whether the reservation is made by a Torrance resident or non-resident. Torrance residents groups and organizations may make reservations nine months in advance. Non-resident groups and organizations may make reservations 14 days in advance.
