Does Toronto Public Health provide free TB skin tests?
Toronto Public Health staff provide TB skin tests (or help arrange them with a Family Physician) for identified contacts of a TB case. Health care staff who are exposed to TB at work are usually followed up by Occupational Health. TB skin tests are free for all identified contacts. We also provide free TB skin tests for homeless/underhoused persons and shelter/drop-in staff at the TB STOP located at 277 Victoria Street. We do not provide TB skin tests for people who need them as a requirement for employment/school.
