Does Tom Selleck do a lot of voiceover work?
STEVE ANDERSON: He has done some. He said he’s done a little animation work and he’s done voiceovers for commercials and things like that. He was just amazing. There was no struggle for him coming in and doing this. He really got it, he understand what we were going for, and was just so professional and really embraced the project and this character and gave so much warmth. He has such a deep and warm quality to his voice and that’s what this character, Wilbur’s father, Cornelius, really needed. Q: What about Adam West? You probably didn’t even have to audition him. STEVE ANDERSON: Oh no (laughs), no, when we were casting the character, there really was nobody else, you know. Adam was the first name that popped into my head. The great thing about Adam too is that you know the movie is so silly. There’s a lot of silliness in the film and comedy.
