Not regularly. However, the installation routine writes to the registry, and the trial only routine also writes keys to the registry as described below. The installation routine writes several items to the registry, including the Client directory and Server directory for TOAD, the last Quest product installed (Toad), and the location of the uninstall program. The “trial only” routine is invoked when you enter a trial key into the Help → Register TOAD window.
