Does TKE participate in any philanthropic or charitable activities?
Yes. Along with the national TKE philanthropy, the Alzheimer’s Association, the local Madison TKEs work with charities around the community. The Ronald McDonald House has been the beneficiary of much of our recent volunteer work. Tau Kappa Epsilon also participates in Humorology, an academic-year long project that pairs fraternities and sororities together. The project consists of making a short comedic Broadway-style musical in which six pairings perform in the final show in April upon successful auditions in December. Humorology raises money for the Chris Farley Foundation and Camp Heartland, and is the biggest Greek philanthropy on campus.
