No. Designed as a cable box replacement, TiVo HD and the TiVo Series3 will work with any cable provider but cable service from your local provider is required. CableCARDs™ are required to receive digital cable channels. Contact your local cable company for more information. The TiVo HD and TiVo Series3 do not work with satellite service. The TiVo Series2 DT will work with cable or satellite service.
