• Dad is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He receives excellent services from the VA in our area. In fact, we’re concerned that maybe he’s getting too much help. For his chronic back pain, he’s on powerful pain relievers AND getting steroid injections. Is this all really needed? • My mother hurt her back lifting tray tables at a restaurant where she was a waitress. She’s been in constant pain ever since. The medical community says they can’t do anything more for her. I think if she would just try moving a little more, she could get over this.
