Does Time Machine automatically back up folders stored on the desktop?
I cannot find the contents of any folders that are stored on my desktop in my Time Machine back ups. It appears Time Machine does not automatically back up items on the desktop as it does for the Macintosh HD. This is a bummer as I messed up a file from a desktop folder and there apparently is no previous back up of it on my external hard drive TM back ups.
