Does Timbuktu Pro for Windows map the Windows key in a control session?

0

Currently Timbuktu Pro does not map the Windows key in a remote control session. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl+Esc to pop-up the Start menu. If a Guest (the computer you are connecting from) presses the Windows key on their local keyboard, it will pull up the Start menu locally, but result in the Host machine (the machine being controlled) getting a Ctrl down command. For example, typing “f” when you are in an application will pull up the Find window. The work around is to press the Windows key on the Host’s keyboard and then click back in the application. If the Host’s keyboard doesn’t have a Windows key, then you can press Ctrl+Esc. Pressing Ctrl+Esc on the Host’s keyboard does not work if there is a Windows key.
