Does this shoe belong to Meredith Kercher’s killer?
Amanda Knox, the American student who has reverted to her original claim that she was out when her housemate Meredith Kercher was murdered, was caught on closed-circuit television entering the house on the evening of the crime. Police said that three cameras in a car park had a view of the entrance to the house. They said that the image of Ms Knox was clear cut. Ms Knox now claims that she spent the night of November 1 at the home of her Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, and not, as she told police in questioning, in the kitchen of her home covering her ears from the sound of Ms Kercher’s dying screams. The body of Ms Kercher, 21, from Couldson, South London, was found seminaked in her bedroom on November 2. Her throat had been cut and she had suffered sexual violence.
