Yes. If you are a Canadian Forces member residing in Quebec, you will continue to collect parental benefits from the existing Quebec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP). However, at this time QPIP does not provide for this new extension of the parental eligibility period. The EI program will provide the extended parental benefits for eligible Canadian Forces members who reside in Quebec .
