Does this mean season ticket holders no longer risk having their tickets revoked when they sell them?
Under the law, season tickets can generally be revoked with or without cause. However, with the CWS now stretching into an event lasting almost two weeks, it is understandable that even the most loyal season ticket holders may not be able to attend every game. The NCAA® wants to allow season ticket holders a sanctioned outlet where they can safely sell tickets that would otherwise go unused. Additionally, when season ticket holders can’t attend a game, the NCAA® wants to make these tickets available to fans locally and across the country. It is important to note that Ticket Exchange will be monitored to ensure that season ticket holders do not abuse this accommodation by selling all, or most, of the allocation of tickets online each year. If a season ticket holder resells tickets without using Ticket Exchange, they do risk having their tickets revoked.
