Does this effect the internet usage?
I have 3 laptops on a cable broadband connection (virgin media) looking at there site there is a traffic management programme in place and it tells you how much you can download at certain times of the day (fair usage policy) most broadband companys have it even when it says unlimited so i split the allowance between all 3 so i know what i can put on each 1 at any time and if there is a time period where it does not mention an allowance like 9pm-10am and 3pm-4pm then that is when i do my downloading. There are ways around this say if more then 1 person wants to watch a downloaded film but at different times when it suits them instead of downloading it again just burn it to disc and copy it across to the other pc plus there is download monitors so u can tell what each persons internet usage is 1 i have used is dumeter free 30 days or purchase a licence (key code) put 1 on each pc then it will alert you when someone is going over their limit.
